This the the view from our room!
Not sure about the observation deck, we are checking that out later, it looks like it opens at 5pm and there might be a podium at the first floor to gain access and confirm you are staying at BLT. You cant get into the hotel or into the pool area with your room key, it opens the doors and the gates.(Unless someone holds a door open for you.)
Our room, 8014, is a studio with handicap access, since I dont have a regular studio to compare it to, im not sure if the layout is different. The bathroom has a regular tub/shower, plus a second shower stall with a seat and a zero entrance. The Bed is not a king, maybe a queen? The couch is a pull out ok for two people. The wetbar area confuses me, the microwave is right on the counter top so there isnt any room for the coffee pot, I had to pull the microwave out a bit to set the coffe pot on it. you cant move the microwave up to the shelfs above the wetbar counter, they are too short. Again, I dont have a comparison of a regular studio. The TV is the flat panel and there is a nice unit with it that allows several draws and a cabinet that open with short shelf but good to store wallets, glasses, etc.
The bed spread and bedcover are all in mickey icons. The fridge seems a little smaller than what we are used too in the BCV. We got back from the pool a little while ago and here comes the afternoon thunderstorm.
